Types of Plans
Medicare Supplement Plans
Medicare Supplement plans are exactly what the name implies. They are offered by private companies and are intended to pay for all or part of what Medicare doesn’t pay when a beneficiary encounters medical or hospital expenses. The Wade Agency LLC offers all types of Medicare Supplement plans and has access to all of the competitive plans from the major insurance carriers.
Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by Medicare through contracted private companies as an alternative to original Medicare. They often have little or no monthly premium, some additional benefits such as dental and vision benefits, and usually include prescription coverage. The beneficiary may experience more cost sharing than with original Medicare. About half of The Wade Agency LLC’s clients have Medicare Advantage plans and we are quite familiar with these plans.
Medicare Prescription plans
Medicare Prescription plans are offered by Medicare through contracted private companies. There is no Medicare Prescription plan that is the best for everyone. Each plan has its own list of covered drugs. We are happy to help you research the plans at no charge.
The Process
We offer an Overview of Medicare
If you’re new to Medicare, and wish to make sense of all the things you have heard about Medicare, or you simply want to know what to do with the stack of mail you have received from people trying to promote their ideas for Medicare, we are happy to give you a high-level overview in plain English. This overview can be accomplished in person, by telephone, or on a Zoom meeting.
Often, after the overview, a Medicare beneficiary is ready to decide on an approach to Medicare, and then we help them with the shopping, to find the plan that works best for them.
Already have a Medicare Plan?
If you already have a Medicare plan, we are happy to do a no-obligation review of what you have, to determine if it's the best possible fit. We often advise people not to change a thing after we do a review. It's good for them, and it's good for our business. Our business benefits from having long-term relationships with a lot of people. We accomplish that by treating people the way we would like to be treated.
